I think that the likelihood of someone check-raising is higher than the likelihood of you having the best hand, so I honestly think you should check behind.

Usually I'd check behind if my passive opponents had been calling all the way on this board. In this case I'm not so sure. Both SB & BB showed aggression at the flop, which I would interpret as a made hand and not a pure draw. I can't for the life of me figure out what the have though, but some kind of Jx, AJ, A8 etc etc, in combination with some backdoor draw.

You might still be beat of course, but IMO there's a higher chance than usual that they are calling down with TP or a low 2-pair.

Any reads on MP? That's the opponent that I would be afraid of having the flush given the action, especially if the blinds are passive. If MP is calling a lot and isn't very good, I think you can bet for value. If MP is tricky and decent, that will be where the C/R comes from.

This is an extremely close decision either way. If you bet, it's the Calista Flockhart of value bets. I would probably check behind, but I would feel a little weak doing so. It's too likely that *somebody* was in there with spades.

If it were HU or three-handed, I would definitely bet.

I agree with everything here - it's extremely close, and I don't think you're losing much either way in this situation. I'd go with checking because I might cry if I get check/raised.

Thanks for the response. FYI, MHIG , SB had A8, BB KJo and MP missed a draw.
