id say that the majority of 2+2 users are not that smart, and id guess that close to half are losing poker players.

It's too close to call.

2+2 is dominated by smartasses who profess to know something about a card game we don't talk about here.

Mensa is dominated by insecure people who need an organization to certify that they are smart.

In an IQ-type intelligence test, I would put the average *regular* poster on 2+2 up against the average 4-year student in any university.

edit: I would exclude a few schools from this list, but only top 10 MIT-type colleges.

I, for one, am pretty regular.

"id guess that close to half are losing poker players"

people say this all the time, it really makes no sense to me and seems quite absurd...first, nobody here knows half the posters...second, most players here probably play micro/small stakes, and most of us know that these games don't necessarily require someone to be "good" at poker in order for them to win, while it may be true that if all the players stepped up one or two or three levels then the losing percentage would increase...bleh...

I'm in Mensa (my GMAT score). Many here are smarter than me, at least with regard to a card game - which I guess isn't saying much for them really. Hmmm I dunno.

let's not forget that mensa members are so smart that they pay dues to belong to an organization that has no tangible benefits, making it one of the greatest scams ever (at least, that's what former mensa members tell me)

we at least get OOT to entertain us.

what about us 2+2ers that are (or were) in mensa? does that put us into an elite caste?
