Would you settle for half the players with twice the cards?

Good idea but that is way too hard for any poker site to implement. Besides with twice the cards you'd have 6 combinations, that's like playing against 54 opponents!!! (10 handed). It'd be impossible to win without the nuts! No one would ever play such a ridiculous game, you can tell Uncle Johnny and Sheriff Hank I said so too!

This might be doable if you halve the number of player cards, and double the number of board cards. Otherwise it would be identical to Hold'em, with twice the bad beat stories.

Some site should make these available. There is no reason to limit the game to ten players online.

[/ QUOTE ]

So you'd like to play a game where you can have AA preflop and be drawing completely dead? (Note: this can happen with as few as 12 players)

No thanks.

If he wasn't being sarcastic he would have spelt ridiculous with an 'e' (and probably too with one 'o'). Do you see why?

I can think of one situation off the top of my head. You have AA, player 2 has AA. player 3 has 22, player 4 has 33, ..., player 14 has KK. Player 15 also has KK. All the players' pairs have the same 2 suits as your aces. You're drawing dead :P

It is entirely possible - two guys have Ax, everyone else has a pair with your suits - you cannot improve, but any other card gives the other players at least a set.

I am not saying it is likely.
