Re: Foxwoods NL Rake. oh my...
(I for one will be delighted when this NLHE fad fades and poker becomes about playing poker again, rather than about appearances.)
Me too I hate constantly winning hundreds of dollars playing against these trendy people. |

I mean I hate playing ABC poker against chumps and winning a few hundred dollars in the span of a couple of hours. I'd much rather play skilled opponents. |

It's very very profitable. I love when it turns into a preflop pushfest.

It's very very profitable. I love when it turns into a preflop pushfest. [/ QUOTE ] well yes, but the disgusting thing is that the 5-5NL game with no cap takes $12/hour, or 1.4BB. At the 1-2, $10 is 5BB/hour, thats disgusting. I also just got back from Aruba where they take 10% of the pot up to TEN DOLLARS!!! Makes the 4-8 unbeatable as far as I'm concerned. It is still funny however that I was definitely the only person in the casino that realized how awful the rake was. |

Ugh- that flop rake rule ($2 on the flop at $4/8?) is ugly.
