Re: Party 15/30
I don't think its a tough game, but I consider just making 1 BB/100 to be very good for playing 4 tables. I don't believe people who say they can maintain 2.5 or more.

Re: Party 15/30
This is really hard to say. I would guess more than 100K hands. But by the time you play that many hands, you likely will have become better, but the average game situation may have changed as well. For example, last year, I averaged almost 3 BB/100 for over 60k hands in the 15s. Then managed to basically break even for 40k hands. Mostly it was due to first bad luck, and then playing suboptimally cause I had lost confidence, but it was also because the game had change a bit (it became tighter/less maniacal).
The game seemed like a walk the park during that first 60k hands (my BB/100 never dropped below 2.2 or so), but rest assured that that won't always be the case. Poker is quite streaky (even if you try to minimize variance, my SD in BB/100 was a bit lower than the average I think for the 15 game). When you are winning, it feels like a breeze. When you are in the midsts of a long downswing or breakeven stretch, it feels like you are trying to punch through a concrete wall with your bare hands. |

Re: Party 15/30
Few players can keep 2.5 up i think 1.5 is a solid and very attainable rate for an solid player that has Rakeback.
