I hope Irie was credited.

How different is the article?

[/ QUOTE ]

I am not certain if I gave Irieguy enough credit or not, I just put his name below a direct quote from his post that I used in the article(which was used a header for the second page.)

Cool.

Just from what Hurst said it sounded like he may not have been mentioned at all.

Perhaps you two and Fischman could all team up with some new material. Perhaps elucidating block theory?

Good to see you're back checkin' 2+2. We all missed ya at the STTFHUC, hopefully you can make it out for President's Day.

Ditto Irieguy's comment that Gigabet's original post was one of the most important things I've ever read about poker. Since then I've been mulling some criticisms about the philosophy behind it (no winners or losers?), but I still think his practical advice on how to play and think about poker is powerful stuff.

Where is DownWithGigabet with a response to all this. BTW, my conspiracy theory is that DQG is actually Fischman and that post was just a way to get some opposing viewpoints (if there were any).

Gigabet is well-known for taking others' interesting ideas and making them into his own posts, while giving little to no credit to the actual authors. Kinda like the dispute between Alexander Bell and that other poor sap, the one who really invented the telephone. My guess is he made any mention of Irieguy at all
in Cardplayer because it is a public magazine and he could easily be accused of plagiarism.

Yeah, seriously. I have no idea what you are talking about here. Maybe you know something I don't.

He is a little more than that. He was one of the original regulars at the step 5 tables when Party Poker first introduced them. He also made it a point to let me know every chance that he got, that he didn't like me in the least bit. Nearly every one of the original step 5 regulars shared a common goal of letting me know at every pass how much I was disliked, and thehuncher was the main instigator at every table.

Even some of the posters here spoke aloud about their distaste for me. I don't understand why he is doing this, i haven't seen him since I stopped using the Gigabet name, around January.
