Results:
I wasn't quite sure how long to heat them up... the first one didn't end up very hot but it still tasted ok. The second one was warmer but it tasted slightly different, or maybe I was just imagining it. (I think it may be the result of the outside burning slightly?) When I was finished I took the pan over to the sink to rinse it off because I've learned that when you just let those things sit around, it gets much harder to scrub all of the crap off them later. At that point I got a demonstration of why you're not supposed to pour water on hot oil, and I felt very smart. Thanks for all the help. |
