1) Why? because I had folded a million hands in a row and wanted to play some poker
2) I would think alot of people would fold to a big turn bet if they dont have a K 3) Just sat down..no read. |

What was your plan when you decided to call the flop in the second hand? You thought your hand was maybe good, you wanted to bluff him off a better pair, you didn't care which of those happened as long as you took the pot on the turn...? His turn bet makes it look pretty clear that he has something that beats you, although perhaps not a king. Unfortunately, he may be making that bet precisely in hopes that you will raise him.
And while this is off topic, that looks like a pretty clear preflop fold. Playing for set value with his stack size is at best marginally profitable, but if things don't go perfectly you quickly become -EV on the call. |
