Default Re: Do you usually play QKo?

I was in a dry spell recently and got so frustrated I started calling preflop with hands like 10-7o just trying to make something happen. It has really worked. I've been playing these cards from late position mainly. KQ is a hand I REALLY want to be in position to play. It is very difficult to play from EP. By the time you find out you're dominated, you're screwed. I will fold it from EP, especially as the blinds begin to rise.

As long as you can avoid getting stacked with TP2K play it. If you can't let go of top pair for your stack it will be your single most expensive hand.

I havent set a preflop playing standard rule for myself in quite sometime. It's all about the table dynamics.
