Yes, I just had this class last semester and its actually quite easy to do on the 89.

Also, I recommend the titanium edition, its just more memory than a normal 89 but I find the menus and programs much easier to find.

No, the 89 was the top of the line when you bought the 83. They came out at the same time or at least close to it.

You won't need to ask us if you get an 89, because it's incredibly easy and you'll be able to do it as soon as you look at the calculator.
