Re: Eurobet\'s new bonus:
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] The terms of the new Eurobet bonus say that players who contribute to the pot generate points, the same way rake for rakeback is generated. If true, it would take an awfully long time to generate 6,000 points [/ QUOTE ] They have always said this. It's not true, and Eurobet's bonus is the same as every pokerroom skin one. It's not going to take 3 months to clear. [/ QUOTE ] Correct. It's not too difficult to put up 1,000 points a day if you multitable 3/6. I've put up 2,000 points a day sometimes. If you play 3/6+, this bonus will clear faster than a standard Party 10x bonus. |

Re: Eurobet\'s new bonus:
Observed the 2/4 full ring for a bit today
little difference with the addition of Eurobet an extra table, but that could just be variance Pot size seemed a bit smaller It's like pokerroom before...find a fish and sit next to him/her |

Re: Eurobet\'s new bonus:
I just deposited for the bonus today and played a little 5-max $1/$2 limit holdem.
According to PokerTracker, the 80 games generated $41.45 in total rake. $41.45 / $0.10 = 414.5 * 0.07 pts = 29.015 pts. $20.50 of the rake was from pots I did not contribute to at all. According to Eurobet's cashier, I was credited with 28.98 pts so it appears that the requirement is just to be dealt cards -- you don't need to contribute to the pot. This was a little under 1 table hour which earned about 0.5% of the required points, so extrapolating this (very small) data set, you get about 200 tables hours at 5-max $1/$2 limit. Four tabling reduces this to 50 real hours so this should be very doable in 90 days. Edit 1: Looks like my estimate on the small data set may even be high for the time to clear. According the the BW bonus grid, the 10x bonus should clear about $4 per table hour short handed so 150 table hours total. 3-tabling would be 50 real hours, 4-tabling would drop it to under 40 hours. Re: Eurobet\'s new bonus:
[ QUOTE ]
For those adept in bonus math, how long will this take to clear at a level of 50$ PL/NL games and 1/2$ Limit? its 100% up to 600$, 90 days to clear, requiring you to generate 10 points per dollar, so 6k for the whole thing. Points are awarded at a rate of 0.07 points for each $0.10 of rake in a ring game. For example a rake of $3 will award all players contributing to the pot 2.1 points. I don't pay attention to rake all that much so cant even ballpark how long/ how many hands this would take at this level, but it seems lengthy, any thoughts? [/ QUOTE ] I've started my effort to clear the Eurobet bonus at $1/2 full ring limit. Here are the numbers I have so far: 789 hands, 333.83 player points = 2.36 hands/PP So (2.36 hands/PP)*(6000 PP) = 14160 hands If you four-table, you can play about 250 hands per hour. So four-tabling $1/2 full ring would take approximately (14160 hands)/(250 hands per hour)= 56 hours. Give or take a few hours, it looks like it would take anywhere from 55-60 hours four-tabling $1/2 full to clear the bonus. |
