On the flop I picked up a set of aces on a rainbow, non straight draw board

[/ QUOTE ]

When an ace flops there is ALWAYS a straight draw. It may be unrealistic given the opponent's range, but there's always at least a gutshot.

hey sfer

the table sounds like it was raising the loose limpers, but when the tightest player at the table limps utg i think it might sound off alarms in even the noobish of minds. im going to assume that this was your first hand in an hour and say you should have raised to 15 bucks so that the guys with "small cards" can catch a pair and "bust you". that aside you played the hand perfectly given your utg limp.

Ahh true, I basically just meant an uncoordinated board. Keep at it, and you'll force me to relinquish my title as the most nitpickey poster on this forum.

Lousy Canuk.

He pretty much quit. I talk to him on AIM sometimes, but he's usually busy playing beer pong in his dorm room and unintelligible.
