Raise 1200-1400 more preflop for sure instead of 800. Your 3x raise does not account for the two limpers.

On the flop, I flatcall the raise and call down/check behind the rest of the hand.

BB = 200, it's a 6x raise, or a 3x raise of the min raise. I agree that you need to squeeze the limpers a little more there, I would have made it 1500 since we have position.

I hate pushing the flop there. Why not just call and let him committ himself on the turn? What are you trying to accomplish with your raise that you can't accomplish on the turn?

As a side note, how in the world can our opponent have a ten? Does he call the raise (not closing the action with a minraiser and a few limpers still left to act behind him?) preflop with AT or JTs? Does he call twice preflop with KK/AA? Not a chance (well, a small chance). He's almost certainly drawing thin here, and he seems to want to give away his chips, so I'm not going to let him off the hook by pushing this flop.

$11 rebuy, Sossman? ATs is A GOOD HAND OMG WTF LOLZ!!!!!

(a small chance)...there are about 9 bazillion hands that he's doing this with that we are killing.

Oh, I'm certainly not advocating folding. I've found that the guys who like to check-minraise with their monsters tend to slowplay them on later streets. But I swear that's all the new rage, I see it all the time. I would not be surprised at all if Villian had the made boat here. So I just want to get to showdown as cheaply as possible, which means check-calling IMO.

Actually on second thought if Villian checks both the turn and river, I think the river can be value bet.

I really thought that the raise of 6xBB would clear out the limpers and I would go H2H ag. MP2. Very surprised when Villain smooth called and MP2 folded. I put Villain on less than AA or KK b/c of no re-raise with MP2 still to act. If you're going to limp-reraise those hands, a reasonable person would want to clear out that min raiser.

My thinking was that calling was horrible. I'd have half my stack in and would be crippled. I couldn't see a T that would limp/call a big raise other than maybe TT.

My reason for posting is why push here? Is there any hand that calls a push that doesn't have me beat?

Pot was 3100 PF, 10,600 after Villain's re-raise. If I push, I putting ~5000 more chips in and Villain's getting 3:1 to call. Does anyone call with a strong draw or even a middle K (KQ, KJ)?

I went in the tank and then pushed. Villain flips over QhTh and I'm out. I can't figure out the call PF. He's calling 800 more into a 1900 pot. Good enough odds for those of who you might limp this suited connector from early position with a large stack?
