I obviously didn't word this scenario clearly. Or, I didn't word it so as to get the answer I wanted. [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

My point is that A combines the unjustified selfishness with being an arrogant tool, so he should get it worse. He proclaimed he was better than C, but turned out to be just as bad.

Try this one out, it isn't perfectly analogous, but I think it is similar... Curious if you feel the same way about Person C after thinking about the following.

Person A has a driver's license, he drives his car at the speed limit, but somehow hits Person B, killing him.

Person C does not have a driver's license and does the same thing as Person A.

Does person A deserve a greater punishment, since he is exempt from the "driving" law by virtue of having a license?
