Yeah i was playing too high. I find myself getting very impatient at .10/.20 so i move up to .25/.50 then 1/2 and then 2/4 and i lost the 150 at 3/6. I know this is incredibly stupid but i feel like I need to build up a bankroll. In reality I don't need one at all. I'm not even out of high school. Mommy and Daddy clothe me. Any tips on how to force ones self to play where they should?

With $200 I would reccomend playing $25NL. Once you work that up to $750-$1000 jump into 50NL if you feel comfortable. If you can't work your BR up that much then you should stay at 25NL until you can. Your bankroll should be about 20 buy-ins worth of whatever limit you are playing. You were playing way above your BR and this is one of the easiest ways to lose money.

Would 9 handed tables or 6 handed tables be better?

The way I learned to play at the appropriate level was to play too high a few times and proceed to get my ego and bankroll busted down a notch. I learned my lesson from this.
If you don't feel that you are one of the best players at the table you should probably move down. As for what to do with your $45, I would probably play a few $5 SNG's or play cash games at the smallest stakes possible, and play very tight, being in a rush to build your bankroll is a quick way to lose it. Good luck rebuilding and be careful, there's no shame in walking away down a few bucks if it saves you many more.

Thanks for the advice. Most constructive I've heard. I appreciate it and gives me hope. I thought since ive fluctuated so much. Going from 50 to 300 to 0 and repeating like 3 times I was getting worried. I'll slow down a bit untill I hit 4 or 5 hundred then take it from there.

Thanks
Chris
