Re: 3 hands I may have overplayed (2/4 6-max)
Q65 flop with this preflop action sucks ass. And this push is not necessarily always QQ, but I think you see 78[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 56, AQ[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], maybe sometimes just Ax[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], but seriously you are behind his range (probably have to call anyway just due to pot odds).

Re: 3 hands I may have overplayed (2/4 6-max)
hand 1 - standard
hand 2 - i don't like your push here, i agree with your reasoning for pushing in hand 1, but you give no reasoning here, and i can't find any myself. hand 3 - eh, i don't like the push. i'd rather call, and push any non club/non paint card. |

Re: 3 hands I may have overplayed (2/4 6-max)
[ QUOTE ]
On hand 1: I like your thought process and would do the same thing, that is, isolate the short stack against my A-K. I really don't like pushing though. You're only going to get called by someone with a big hand, and I don't want to risk all of my money with A-K. But most importantly, I think reraising to something like $130-150 would have the same effect. No one's calling that kind of raise unless they have a real big hand, and if anyone comes over the top of that and pushes in, well you're probably beat. But I think that has the effect of isolating without having to put all your money in preflop with A-K. [/ QUOTE ] With A K here, a 3-bet by Hero can't be anything but allin, for reasons Ghaz mentioned. |
