Re: Too Standard?
I'd bet the turn. Sure, it's no fun to get raised, but it's even less fun to give a free card when you have the best hand. Welcome to the joy that is being out of position vs an aggressive opponent...

Re: Too Standard?
You need to lead the turn here and see what he does.
sure getting raised on the turn will suck and this is where reads will come into play. Like is villain the type that likes to wait until the Turn to raise AA-KK. If so I could lay down to the turn. But if villain is also capable of raising AK here for free showdown or hopes to hit putting you on a medium pair? Then it's an easy call. But since you have no reads I think you should call this down and put a note of him either waiting to raise AA-KK on the turn or popping you with AK on the turn so that next times your in this spot with him you will know what to do Can't give free card on turn, you want him to pay to draw for those 6 outs!!!!! |

Re: Too Standard?
You say he's aggro on the turn, so you don't fold if you bet the turn and he raises. I don't like to let him draw for free here if he's got overcards and it's pretty sweet if he raises you with a 6-out draw.

its a super easy call down if you get raised. [/ QUOTE ] Of course. You told us the dude is aggro on the turn, why would this even be a question here? |
