Sometimes, playing in a cash game, I have covered up my chip stack on my monitor so I could play every hand the way I wanted to with out looking at how much cash I had left.

It wound up working pretty well for me. I trippled my buy-in within 4 hours.

There is some site, true poker or somthing like that where you have to click on your cards to view them and everyone can see that you are looking at your cards. Comes in handy for seeing if anyone is on a flush draw, I would imagine

this ranks up there with putting a post-it on your moniter where your hole cards appear and not looking at them until its your turn to act.

quite often, and I'd shuffle them on a magazine or soft mouse pad -

but I had ulterior motives - trying to get a feel for how much I'm betting - it's too easy to just click "raise" - I've also done it with ring games - I have about 1000 chips of various colors...

usually, though I just take 3 or 4 clay chips from my collection of $5 chips and shuffle them or try that over the top chip trick.
