I took the free $50 from sportsbook.com and won my first 6 bets. Dont get too excited for me... i didnt parlay them. The chances of winning 5 straight is 32-1... right? Its not too far-fetched for one of us to hit this if enough people try... and it wouldnt cost a cent to try.

My roomate did this and actually transferred the money from their sportsbook to their poker room. He played 2/4 way shortstacked but ran very well and ran the money up to nearly 350 dollars. They didn't let him withdraw it. When he called them to ask why, they closed his account.

They have a history of slow pay and non-payment.
Their customer service sucks.
Considering the ethics behind this mailed "promotion", I wouldn't trust them with a nickle of my money.

They do run a horrible sportsbook, as the above poster mentioned. I have a friend who uses them exclusively, specifically because they give him a good percentage of his losses back. But he never seems to cash out anything...I've never deposited there, after they took a week to credit me with a "free" bonus that should have been credited in 24 hours. Stay away from them.
