Re: KQo calling a raise PF
sacrilege?
No, that would be hitting on my GF. Calling a raise with KQo is just almost NEVER correct. See? One can cause phyisical harm and the other just financial |

Re: KQo calling a raise PF
[ QUOTE ]
sacrilege? [/ QUOTE ] I cold called a raise with KQo today. A very LAG player raised in EP and got three cold calls in front of him; I called with it in the cutoff. DISCLAIMER #1: Generally you should not do this. DISCLAIMER #2: If it was correct here, it probably wasn't by much. I'm curious what Mr. Miller would say if he's browsing this. |

Re: KQo calling a raise PF
What types of hands were the other coldcallers likely calling with? That's more of a factor in playing this than the raise by the LAG.
I'd have likely folded. b |

This table, it's an easy fold.

also factor in position and tendencies of preflop raiser, as calling on the button against a LAG with loose raising standards in the CO is OK [/ QUOTE ] wow, and nothing about the coldcalling standards of the players in between. Isn't that kind of important here? b |

Re: KQo calling a raise PF

but you should almost always fold KQo to a legitimate raise pre-flop. [/ QUOTE ] Or to an illigitimate raise with likely a bunch of decent coldcalled hands in front of you. Even loose players can have high coldcalling standards. KQs? yep. KQo? nope. b |
