Re: TT oop, overcard, HU vs. unknown pfr.
One thing I always wondered about was that if you can do this with a hand like TT, how much different exactly is doing it with say, 88? Just that you're behind 99 now as well as all those other high pp's?

Re: TT oop, overcard, HU vs. unknown pfr.
I don't fold 88 here either. I'm not giving credit to players to big pairs over big Aces until I know them a bit better. But once an A or K hits the board...

[ QUOTE ] I'd bet again on the turn as well, since there's still a sufficient chance he's holding 2 overs after not playig back. I also c/f the river because 99 doesn't happen often enough here. Nice hand. [/ QUOTE ] If he's calling the flop after a 3-bet by Hero, he's got AQ AJ and is willing to pay off AK or call down someones overplayed PP. Check/fold [/ QUOTE ] Meh, I don't hate a c/f here. But I could see this guy having K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q and thinking he's got up to 6 outs against you on the flop. Or two diamonds that will pay to draw. And there's a slim possibility of folding a better hand here with aggression if he's weak-tight. |

[ QUOTE ] i fold preflop and save myself some hassle VS a preflop raiser OOP. [/ QUOTE ] This is obviously sarcasm. Please tell me this is sarcasm. [/ QUOTE ] Out of @L's 2800 posts, probably about 2750 are telling me to stop being a wuss and not be afraid to get my chips out there, so yeah, it's sarcasm. Adam, I hope you have very well developed nut-callouses, because making these plays too often can lead to infertility. |
