Re: Another Headphones Post
I'm buying myself the Grado SR60's for Christmas.
Apparently, they're entry-level "cans", but very very good for the price ($69). |

Re: Another Headphones Post
Maulik was right on with suggesting the HD280. I wear headphones all day at work, too, so I picked the 280s up. I love them; great sound, comfortable, sealed, everything you could want.
link I don't get why you're worried about looking like a DJ though. |

Re: Another Headphones Post
I've been pretty happy with my Sony MDR7506s. $100.
I haven't compared them to other sets around the same price range, but I'm satisfied after upgrading from cheapo headphones. |

Re: Another Headphones Post
I have the shure E5c. They are amazing. Their big selling point is that Dave Matthews Band uses the same technology as the earphones do in their speakers at concerts. Regardless of how impressive that may or may not be, the headphones provide the clearest sound possible (particularly great for listening to jazz) and you wouldn't be able to hear somebody screaming fire in the cubicle next to you if you were wearing them.
Link P.S. If you don't feel like shelling this much $$$, I've tried the E3c before and they're also sweet. link |
