So, I basically flipped a coin for a +$10K pot. Would you do the same?

Flip a coin? No. Take 58:42? Hell yes.

You "win" like $930 from his flop action.

Next time you have QQ vs. AK, you should also be very content.

If you are thinking "I basically flipped a coin for +10k" you have a huge misunderstanding of poker math and/or are playing way out of your comfort zone.

There's 1780 overlay in the pot as it stands (if I did it right), PLUS you are a favorite (as in, it's worth another $889 just for the call without the overlay). If you fold here (in this exact situation), you are literally throwing away $2669 (plus future table presence of being able to be pushed off any hands b/c you are playing scared money).

My advice: move down in stakes.

Not really. It's not like he HAD to have 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. The times he has A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or a smaller set should make you feel better as they are just as likely. You were nearly 3:2 favorite, that's no coinflip. Tough break, don't let it keep you down.

no you didn't. theres already dead money in the pot AND you are the favorite.

but that's besides the point. this isn't actually a coinflip situation because there is just one 76h combination out there while AKh or 44 is very likely as well. against his range of hands you are in much much better shape than 52:48, which you should call with anyways.

58:42 is NOT 50:50; it's not even 52:48. As long as I am bankrolled for the game, I would put in all my money in this situation 100% of the time with no exceptions.

I would not be at all surprised if he showed A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] or A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
