Sthief- are you assuming that the turn is a K or 2, when saying to let him bluff 2 big bets? You arent saying that we are snapping off his bluff with k high, are you? Im confused.

How can that be profitable, when we may often be against ace high?

Wouldn't ace high likely make it 3-bets before the flop? I guess it's player dependant. Some LAGs will just call down with ace high on boards like this since they have some showdown value. I think it's somewhat unlikely villian has A high.

I'd advice checking through the river here as a better hand isn't folding.

I've been pwn3d by you in this thread.

Very good point about the guy not likely folding on a 655 flop vs. an A44 flop. I need to try and remember or, better yet, write down flops when I go on to make follow up posts in a thread.

Default seriously though

ok ill stop being a jerk.

i dont think hands like this are necessary. i mean you should just fold K2s against a spazzy bb who you cant steal against. if there's an edge here it's super thin, and meta game there's not much positive going on there either.

that said, i think the turn raise is correct. unfortunately it's only for value, to make him pay for betting a club draw he picked up. the chance he folds a better hand, including ace high, is around zero. others who say check the river are probably right.

Anyone who says to check the flop is obviously a Monday morning quarterback. Would you guys still say that if you didn't know about the donk bet on the turn?? Checking on the flop here is incredibly weak and puts you in the position of having to decide whether to call down or release king high, as you now almost guarantee facing that same donk bet on the turn. Many don't realize that the donk bet does not occur that often after a bet flop and when it does, adjustments have to be made.

Raising with K2s on the button is just fine....and against a 46 vpip, it's even better---if you can handle post flop play.

Often.....NOT.
Remember, the guy puts preflop money in 46% of the time.
