I think it's an easy three bet. The five is not a scare card, unless this is the type of person who raises 6 7 and then bets the OESD under the gun. Since you say these were passive players, it's unlikely. If you get raised again, then be a little worried about the straight or a set.

I also don't agree with the check on the river. This is just my personal feeling, but someone who just check raised will not check on the river. It may have been smarter to do with the clubs making it, but I see that as weakness.
