There is no such thing as a jinx. Do you really believe that if someone posted this type of thread about a week ago, that Raymer wouldn't have made it this far? Is what I type here somehow going to affect Raymer's cards or decisions?

Since when did wishing someone good luck jinx them?

Hey, they can't all be as good as your Giants. What are they now...37-50? 10 games back?

lol, bash my team, I don't care, they suck right now. It's not like your a Doger fan.

But you are a shameful excuss for a Blahston fan if you dismiss superstition after 100+ years of your dreadful history.

If you're truly superstitious, Babe Ruth didn't say they wouldn't win for the next 86 years...he said they'd never win again. So them winning last year, would completely debunk the statement. But then again, maybe Ted Williams unjinxed it.

I never bought into the curse anyway...although it made for a nice ESPN special every once in a while.

No doubt! Good Luck Greg!

Truly incredible to have won last year and made the final 27 with a large stack this year.

Play well the rest of the way.

Fine...I've never seen the 'no jinx no jinx no jinx' thing actually work and most the time the person gets busted faster, but you can roll with it...

[/ QUOTE ]
You must be an excellent poker player if you even imply (in a non-sarcastic tone) that a "jinx" or "reverse jinx" has any affect on whether a player busts out or not.

[/ QUOTE ]

So. You where saying?

Aaron Kanter now has somewhere between $3.5 and $4 million, while Greg Raymer is crippled down to about $400,000.

and Greg Raymer is eliminated in 25th place, earning $304,680.

The entire crowd of spectators, media, and even members of the ESPN crew give Raymer a standing ovation as he is eliminated in his quest to repeat as the World Series of Poker champion.

And poof...I mear hour and a half into play...gone.

Remind me to remind you that I am (unfortunately in this case)... always right.
