Bump, it's been a day and no thoughts. I'm curious.

This seems like a line I would take at a $200NL cash game and fail miserably at.

One thing I might suggest, (I have no idea if you did this or not) is to check out who the regs here are. There can't be THAT many. If this guy plays these occasionally, I like it a lot less. If he's a qualifier, then I think it has SOME merit.

Agreed. If the villian doesn't usually play this level, there are A LOT of hands he'll be willing to lay down, even if he is SURE you are completely bluffing.

I was in this tourney, and knew u had sh"t when u made that push- im not gonna tell u how to play it better, but it was VERY poorly played- i think u misplayed 3/4 rounds of betting

I'm not a Step 5 guy, but I'll try and guess.

Preflop: Why raise this? A9s is a drawing hand--you want multiple opponents so that you get paid off if you make your flush. You don't want it heads up. The blinds aren't worth stealing.

Flop: It's checked to you. You have tons of outs. Why didn't you bet it?

River: Umm, god, makes my stomach hurt.

That's all well and good but even if it is, there are maybe 2 people in this forum who would even know why it looks fine. Do I think it's terrible, awful, hideously disgusting? No. But I don't know if I would say it looks fine and I'd love input on why you think so.
