It's less daunting than the number of participants indicates.. half the people are gone by the first break.. just play solid poker, make your reads, don't stray away from your game.. as mentioned chip leader is irrelevant, blind and stack sizes are everything in determining how you play.. plus it's rare, unless you get a hot deck, that you will be chip leader from end to end.. winning a tourney involves coming back 1 or 2 times usually
