Re: Vegas mid-range Eats
I really like House of Blues (restaurant, not music hall) in Mandalay Bay. I also liked the food at Red 8 in Wynn (Asian/noodles), but it may be more generic than you're looking for - get the unfiltered sake if you go though!

[ QUOTE ] A lot of the buffets in Vegas are between $20-30. [/ QUOTE ] that also begs the question of where to go for a buffet. [/ QUOTE ] I rate them thus: 1) Wynn 2) Paris - champagne only on Sundays, btw 3) Bellagio 4) Cafe Lago - Caesars 5) Aladdin I was not that thrilled with the Mirage and Bally's sucks ass by comparison to these. Also, Mandalay Bay was hugely disappointing. I want to try the new Treasure Island buffet, Dishes. Next trip, I guess. Regards, T |

The pasta to order is nice, the sushi to order is ok, but there's often a longish (by comparison) line. I thought the rest was standard vegas buffet. If I was in the neighborhood, and didn't want to make the walk to Mirage, I'd go back again. |

Re: Vegas mid-range Eats
[ QUOTE ]
I am going to Vegas this week with a couple friends and I wanted to get one decent meal but one of my friends doesn't want to break the bank for a 50 dollar steak. Can anyone make recommendations of good places with entrees more in the mid-$20 range? We are staying on the strip and don't have a car. Thanks. [/ QUOTE ] Tsunami at the Venitian was great for sushi & chinese food. |

I think you can still get a giraffe for about $20 at the brew pub in the Riviera.

For $22, we got NO selection at all and half of the buffet was empty. May of just been a bad time (~ 1:30pm) |
