what range does a tight BB 3 bet an UTG raiser with (then calls a turn checkraise) that we have a value bet against on the river?

[/ QUOTE ]

We've only got 3 or 4 orbits on the guy, so he might be donkalicious postflop with JJ, TT, A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], etc.

There are plenty of non-donks preflop in $3/6 who are terrible postflop. I get your point, but I think there's value here.

I may be results oriented here having seen the checkraise, but I just cant erase it from my mind! I think if he stops it at the river action I probably advise a bet. I like to think about these things though.

The flop is odd. You've made your hand, why be passive? If you really think you're beat, fold. If you think you're odds are 50/50 or better, raise.

[/ QUOTE ]

Search the forums for how to play a way ahead/way behind line. This play is standard.

I think raising utg w/ kqo is a little loose. I would actually fold this hand at most tables, utg+1 I'd probably call w/ it, MP2 I'd probably raise to open.

[/ QUOTE ] I think this hand plays better raise or fold.

[ QUOTE ]
Have you played a lot of hands at this table, or are you projecting a fairly tight image in 4 orbits?

[/ QUOTE ] Fairly tight (especially from EP).

[ QUOTE ]
Calling the flop indicates you're scared of aa, ak, and kk, right?

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, planned on calling down if he led (until the queen hit the turn).

[ QUOTE ]
Now, since you called the flop, what hand could you possibly be ahead of after that river?

[/ QUOTE ] Cannot think of any hand that would 3 bet PF from BB, call my turn raise and checkraise the river that I beat. I realize it's 13-1 and maybe worth a call (hence the post).

[ QUOTE ]
I'd just check and call, hoping that I was wrong about the BB being solid

[/ QUOTE ] I have position on the BB. Do you think I should check behind on the river? I think the better play is to bet and fold here as I can't imagine a hand that checkraises and I beat, but I may get paid off by a number of other hands. Maybe not....can't think of many hands that pay me off here either

Thanks for your feedback!

Steve

looks and smells like AK to me. pay it off anyway though as He could've just really poorly played JJ and utilized the A scare card
