This list is VERY bad. This sounds more like a list of things that annoy you when playing online poker. Realize that I do some of those things on your list when I play online so I AM labeled a fish. When people don't respect you at the table, you have an advantage.

[/ QUOTE ]
The ratio of people that "fake" being bad compared to actully being bad is very slim. espeically in low limit poker. You are the exception. Their are exceptions to every rule. Like the rule of people who critize something but have no suggestions of there own are counterdictory and a lil hipocritical. Maybe your the exception to this too. Your right about table image though. Thx for the post

¤ Players who post UTG or UTG+1 (I always do a note on that).

An obvious one, but not less important for that:
¤ Players who have a high flop seen %.

i post as soon as I enter a table, no matter where it is. I never considered this a bad thing and won't fault anybody for it. It is one bet to see a flop that always has a chance to either not be a raised pot or it may be a 4 way pot after somebody does a double the blind raise, in which case I call %100 percent of the time. You may consider this a terrible move, but I don't really consider it a bad move at all.

People who buy in short (i.e. like 25BBs) are almost always fish.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes but they're [censored] annoying.

I think 2 and 4 are good, other tests lack specificity.

yeah your probably right. I wrote this while i was pretty tired while playing. But i think 5 and 10, even though there fairly rare, are some of the "less obvious" ones and seem to have almost always rang true. thx for the constructive critizism, i'll keep it in mind for the next "10 ways to spot a good player" topic maybe

I don't know about 10, maybe you're right, haven't thought about it.

I see a lot of decent to good players berating, so I don't agree with 5.

AHH!! this is a great one! i can't beleive i forgot it. Back in my shorthanded days, i used to comb the tables looking for alot of people with small stacks and just bulldoze them. thx for the post

That's funny. I always sit looking for HU action with like $117.21 or something precisely because it looks that way. It works.
