flop check is fine, but once they check to you on the turn you gotta think you have the best hand and bet

Otherwise, you are giving another free card.

I can live with checking the flop, but can't see not betting the turn. That turn card was totally a blank and you've got 2 opponents who checked twice.

I believe my thinking on the turn was that my hand is now so transparent, I'm just asking to get played off the best hand/check-raised by a weakish hand that realizes I don't have much, and I don't think I can call if that happens

[/ QUOTE ]
For what it's worth, a lot of people will actually think you have a monster when you check the flop here. A turn bet will usually take it down.

No, I think the turn check is just "this is my last orbit and I don't want to waste any more money" tilt. It felt wrong to check, but I did it anyways. I even really considered folding this hand on the river. I've been running over 10 BB/100 for a while at 15/30 (don't get mad at me), and every time I get up a lot now I just can't wait to end the session. I'm leaving good tables too early, and playing weak for the last few hands. It's like I'm afraid if I stay too long the inevitable downswing will begin... I'm getting better at staying longer though. And I think the downswing is just beginning anyways.

I do like checking this flop though, glad people agree. But what a weakling I am on the turn

Even after fastplaying sets, I still think the flop check screams strength. Mark me down for 'bet the turn' as well.
