I agree with Nick here. Must move for one hour is fine, after that tho it sucks. Take the bellagio's 2-5 no limit for instance. The first game is must move, and is usually good. The second game is daisy chained with the third, and they keep making you move till you eventually get to the third game (at least that's how it went the last three times I played no limit there). In ALL cases there was a LOT of money on that third table, and the game sucked, full of TAG regulars. Better to play an hour or so in the first or second must move, then quit when they call you for the main game. The same is likely to happen at any limit if you keep the must move going for more than one hour.

$8-16 they start a new game and it is a must move. 20 minutes later, I am moved to the main game. About two hours later the game is down to 4 players and they won't move anyone from the must move game. It is now a main game also. The floor tells us we have to move over to the table i was moved from originally and one guy starts to argue that the other table should move over here because we were supposed to be the main game. [/ QUOTE ] The Wynn corrected their must move policy recently, its must move for the first hour, or until the floor deems the tables to be healthy. Obviously the floor deemed the must move table healthy and it became a main table. That is the correct policy IMHO... although most players who aren't familiar with this method might disagree only because they are uninformed. Steam - don't be a nit about this, the Wynn floor did whats right for the game IN THE LONG RUN. I suggest you read Mason's excellent essay on card room theory - LINK. There's definitely a difference in philosophy at the Wynn v Bellagio. At Wynn, they will open a new game with a very short list and make it a must-move, whereas Bellagio will wait until a list gets looooooooong before they start a new game. Actually, that's why I like the Wynn, is that my 15 game gets shorthanded a lot, and that's usually the most profitable part of my session. Plus, there's usually less waiting around for a seat. But yeah, if you want to play at a full table all the time, Bellagio is your place.

But yeah, if you want to wait over an hour for a seat, deal with the grumpy floor personnel and the abundance of local nits, then play at a full table all the time, Bellagio is your place. [/ QUOTE ] FYP |

Indiana poker better? If what you write really happened, it' because Wynn has hired staff from places like Resorts (formerly Harrah's), in Indiana!
