Re: AQ UTG on the bubble
Thanks for the replies. I did push on this hand. AQ busted me out of 3 tourneys on the bubble tonight, same type of situations. Though I was the favorite in two of them . Just wanted to see if my line of thinking was right.
Thanks!! P0kern00b |

Re: AQ UTG on the bubble
OK mini raise might be ok, but you would still have to fold to a re raise, with the blinds coming up. If you get called then you are out of position on the flop(unless blinds call of course). I still think push all in, but, it's all about opinions.

Re: AQ UTG on the bubble
You can't make a standard raise here. Because if you get reraised here you have to call anyway, so just go all in. If you think you should fold then look at this. If you make a standard raise of 3 BB you have raised 2400 and have 2600 left. 1200 + 2400 + 2400 + 2600 = 8600
8600 / 2600 = 3.3:1 pot odds You know how many hands he must have to make calling incorrect? There is just one hand, AA. Now, if you make a mini raise to 1600 your getting about 2.5:1 and the only hands that give you incorrect odds to call are AA and AK since KK and QQ are about 2.5:1 favorite. And when he has JJ or lower for pairs you really messed up bad. |

Re: AQ UTG on the bubble
Misread the M so the stack size is like 7500... 400 + 800 + 1600 + 1600 + 5900 = 10300 / 5900 = 1.75:1. Then you can fold to QQ+,AK therefore your equity needs to be 36% which means TT+,AK you can fold but if you add 99 and 88 its a call. Plus you have the big blind coming next hand. Pushing all in is profitable.
