Default Re: AJs confusing hand, played too weak?

the only none set hands I see making this check raise are overpairs. And I'm betting that I would've seen a raise by this guy if he had AA KK or QQ.

is getting it all in on this flop really the best move?

Sounds like monster syndrome.

You're ahead of most hands, behind a set, and basically even with two pair or overpair. Re-raise. This is 25NL.

Without a read, I really don't like calling on the river. A regular NL25 player would very rarely (A LOT less than 25% of the time) check-raise that flop with 5 people in the hand unless he has TPTK beat.

If this is your read, it seems to me you should recommend folding to the check/raise on the flop. If OP's TPTK are no good, he is not getting the odds to draw to the flush - not on the flop, and not on the turn. Calling these streets, then folding the river strikes me as the worst possible line.

Raise pre flop, re raise on the flop

And if i had played it like this i'd call on the end. So many people play KJ/qj/j10 this way u have to.
