I generally fold this UTG on party. Even though you will get 3-bet by worse hands, it's not worth playing out of position.

Raise. This is a silly debate, especially given the situation she mentioned.

Raise. You're playing against people who should be wearing helmets.

Default Results: Party 15/30 preflop question -- another AJo one

I raised, got 3-bet by LP, and then check-folded on the K-high rainbow flop.

One of my main problems in adjusting from 5-10 is that I am 3-bet by a wider range of hands, and I am not sure how to continue post-flop with A-high. This is a difficult adjustment for me.

Also, people raise a lot more preflop at 15-30 than 5-10, so a corollary is that I am trying to determine what range of hands I should be 3-betting at 15-30, assumably a wider range than I did at 5-10 (which for me was AK, JJ+ sometimes TT/99).

People especially online don't remember the 30 hands in a row you folded. They remember that you raised the last two hands in a row from early position, and when they see you raise a third time under the gun, they are going to 3-bet instead of fold with hands like AJ, 55, etc. You don't want that.

Well, you certainly don't fold on the flop for one bet.

Umm, no I don't. Though I'd love it if my opponents all folded for one bet on the flop getting over 8-1 when I am betting roughly 100% of the time.

So how do you play this hand with this flop with the pre-flop action the way it was? I am not confident in my decision process in these situations, which are not infrequent.
