If you can afford the risk, you can move up if you want. It is not significantly different skillwise anyway. If you want to enter 1/2 being confident that you will be a winner here, play at least 20K more and reach a winrate around 4-5BB/100. My 0.02$.

no because if you can beat .5/1 for that, you can be making much more at higher limits

You can run at 8 BB/100 for well over 10K. I ran for 30K at 7.2BB/100 on Party .5/1.

But you need some super duper table selection to maximize it that high.

Yes, here is a very good read

In my opinion, if you are around 3BB in the long run, there is lots of room for you to improve.

How many hands do you play per day? I tried 3-tabling but I really can't concentrate. I am playing 2-tables and it takes foerever to play a thousand hands a day. I think I might reconcider playing 500-600 hands/day.

Depends on my mood but I 4 table normally for 2-3 hours at a time.
