Re: Fantasy QB question
I agree with an earlier poster, there may be a better option on the waiver wire. List who is available there. Both are great risks for different reasons. Peyton will not play the whole game and probably will not do much passing while he's in the game. There is just no reason for it.
Rex on the other hand is up against a very shaky defense, but it will be FREEZING in GB and I imagine there will be a lot of Thomas Jones involved in this game. Grossman will put up decent numbers, maybe 120 and 1 TD possible, but look for a lot of TJ and Adrian Peterson in this game. Look for who is starting for the Cardinals, Josh McCown may get the chance, but I would look for John Navarre if possible. With little to no running game I think they'll do a lot of passing, espeically since they are more than likely going to be behind in the game. That's just my opinion |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Yeesh...not an enviable position. I guess if Peyton's 100% by Thursday, then start him. [/ QUOTE ] Huh? Peyton is definitely 100% healthy. Grossman against the hapless Packers is probably a safer play. Did you see how the Packers made Boller look liek an All-Pro last night? [/ QUOTE ] False [/ QUOTE ] Thank you. And yes, after seeing GB's high school defense make Boller look like the second coming of Unitas, I think I've changed my mind. Start Grossman or check the free agents for someone better. ScottieK |
