The likelihood of flopping top pair decreases as the rank of the card decreases. Can't you see that?

I've made my only royal flush with JTs and I've also made a king high straight flush with it.

I've never made a royal flush or a straight flush with J-9s.

That's because you're weak-tight. I wipe my ass with J9s royals.

I prefer J-9 suited because you tend to flop quads more often than with J-10 suited.

My knees go weak when that happens. I always think my quads are outkicked.

Yap. I hate those nut straights. I instantly muck if I flop one.

JTs is overrated by many players who get confused between Hold'em and blackjack. It's an ok hand that makes a lot of straights and flushes, but also often makes a second best hand when it pairs. It is decent in a multiway pot, but AKo is better than JTs against any number of opponents. According to the PokerRoom stats, JTs wins an average of 0.15 BB/hand, averaged over all positions and levels. It's not clear whether it is worth limping UTG with it.

J9s is much weaker because it has less high card value and makes fewer straights and fewer good straight draws. J9s wins 0.04 BB/hand, and loses from all positions but the CO and button.
