I did a couple times when I was 18 or 19. Luckily nothing bad happened. Never again.

i hear that- it's even worse when you DO realize the driver is drunk and could kill you, but are too much of a pussy/dumbass to do anything about it.

I've done it. Never piss drunk, but probably above the legal limit. Now I don't own a car so it isn't an issue, but when I did I started being pretty careful about not putting myself in situations where I might end up doing it.

i hope everyone realizes that their own safety is probably not the main reason to not drink and drive, it's reasons like this

one's own saftey is a great reason not to drive drunk. there are lots of reasons that should stand alone. can you imagine killing a stranger and havng to live with that? ugh.

The danger of driving drunk is overstated... You hear all about the drunk drivers that kill people, but what you don't hear is that for every one that kills someone there are thousands that get hammered at the bar, get in their cars, and get home without incident... but have I ever driven drunk? Of course not!

This is such bullshit. For decades, people have driven intoxicated and been ok. I myself have drive under the influence at leat three times in the last week. Some people shouldnt drive period. Some people are fine when driving drunk. Generally this whole "driving under the influence is bad" thing is nothing but a farce for a bunch of people who dont understand why their relatives die. Ive had two friends killied by drunk drivers, and in both cases i would almost guarentee that the reason my friends died is because someone who is [censored] retarded was given a license to drive, and then had a few beers.
