Thank you all for your input. I'll try fooling with my monitor resolution and then logging in to PP, to see how that affects the displays.
As an aside, I tried 3 tables today, for the first time. Here's and interesting stat in that regard: when 2 tabling i average seeing about 30% of the flops. when 3 tabling, i average seeing about 20% of the flop. The net hands played is thus the same, but the quality of the hands played has improved dramatically. No more Q,10, or K, J off suit, as I am now to busy with better hands to play them. sounds almost snotty doesn't it. Thank you all again. Holden |

oh god dude, you need discipline, not more tables.
QT, KJ are poor hands in most situations. As a beginner I would avoid them at all costs. OK, not all costs, if you're getting 7:1 preflop, KJ looks pretty good but you have to improve at some point in the hand. I'd suggest a good dose of the strategy forums or some 2+2 books if you don't want to wade through it all. |
