[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] lol, move in? he has 1925 chips and theres 625 in the pot. moving in is absolutely terrible on this flop. holla [/ QUOTE ] There are 900 chips in the pot plus pushing shuts your opponenet out of the hand. It also doesn't allow him to pot commit himself to the hand when he makes a continuation bet. [/ QUOTE ] Action: You call. The pot has $675 [/ QUOTE ] Ahhhh...yeah your right Thought there was an ante. |

Where is the rest of this? [/ QUOTE ] Please note that this $300 tournament summary was made a long time ago and I was a much weaker player than I am now. That doesn't mean there aren't some interesting points to it, but my knowledge was far more limited back then. At the time I wrote this I wonder if I could have acheived an ROI of greater than 5% at the $215s. Anyway my analysis of the 75h hand is pretty decent, checking is almost surely correct, along with check raising allin to a normal sized bet. It's surely not terrible to fold preflop given how everyone was super tight and one could seemingly steal blinds at will. |

I hope you don't mind that I posted it. I found it on the internet awhile back. I downloaded a copy and thought that it was an interesting hand. Have your thoughts changed?
If you PM me, I'll send you a copy. Or I could try and go back and find it. |

I think it's funny that these things almost invariably have the guy make the wrong play and have it turn out well.
Nice analysis, curtains. |

Hehe, its ok to make the wrong play, as long as you realize it and analyze it. I learned more from this hand than almost any hand I've ever played, as similar situations occur so often.
