Re: Turn decision...
I think a call on the turn is very close.

Fold the turn. [/ QUOTE ] I think based on the baysian analysis previously posted in the thread, a call is correct. How many outs do you think we have? Krishan |

Re: Turn decision...
When counting outs, did anyone account for generally not wanting spades? Obviously, he wouldn't be a real spade threat, but if he's playing with any two cards...

Re: Turn decision...
I'd call. I think you have ~6 outs.
Also, you have good implied odds because you will earn some fraction of a bet when you spike an ace and you will earn >1 bet when you spike an 8. |

Re: Turn decision...
The turn call is horrible. An 8 probably gives you the winner tho the willian will probably not put more than 1 bet in on the river. Your A outsare possibly tainted. Please tell me if Im doing wrong folding these cause I always do.

Re: Turn decision...
Before doing any math my gut is to call the turn bet since if he's not capping light then you're drawing live to all 7 of your outs except against 99, TT, and AA. All of which are rare, and 99 and TT could be argued as capping light especially out of position. AK would be the other worry, but you should get a free showdown from him as I don't think he fires three streets with AK UI after capping, so you don't have to worry about calling a bet if you spike a 7 that would give you the win. So your implied odds are diminished a bit against AK since you can't really value bet a 7 against him, but it's still a pretty clear call IMO.

Re: Turn decision...
I am going to use King Yao's DIPO. Correct me if I am wrong anywhere.
EPS on river = 9. Number of outs = 5. Good Number 9 * 5 = 45 Unseen cards = 46. Number of outs = 5. Bad Number 46 - 5 = 41 45 vs 41. Close call. Increased EPS to 9, which could be lower. |
