Re: $55: Blind war with QJs

[ QUOTE ] pushing > calling > folding IMO [/ QUOTE ] Think about this your going to let him min raise all of your sbs for the rest of the tounry. What happenes when there at 100/200 and you have 1000 chips and he min raises you have 59 in the bb? The thing is his min raise range here is huge but his call range is probably tiny...AJ+, 99+ maybe KQ. Repush for sure [/ QUOTE ] this guy called an EP raise with KT and got chips in on an AKx board. you think he's folding his A3o? i doubt it. |

Re: $55: Blind war with QJs
[ QUOTE ]
i would call here. this guy sounds like a lag fish. why don't you guys want to play a flop with likely the better hand getting 3:1 in position against a bad player? it's not like your chip position is so great now you can just chill and steal a couple times and make the money. [/ QUOTE ] Like I said, you are right in the middle of the chip count, and have 11xBB. You'll almost certainly get better spots than this later to get your chips in. I think calling's a close second, but I'm just letting this one go. |

Re: $55: Blind war with QJs
I think hes probably folding his k2 or 65 sooted or j7.
As for waiting until the blinds get higher you probably have less FE. If your folding qj sooted what are you pushing here? |

Well, thank you for your opinion, but do either of you have any actual arguments for pushing a hand that's quite a bit less than a monster? [/ QUOTE ] Well, I'm not either of them, but I don't mind a push here. You've been frequently min-raised, have laid your hand down before, and now you're pushing... sounds like tons of FE to me. The KT hand does not convince me that we still don't have tons of FE. I don't mind a call getting 3:1. I dislike a fold, since it seems like this guy is doing this with a wide range of cards. So I would also be in the push camp - and as an above poster mentioned, potentially getting 1 or 2 walks in the future or seeing free flops when the blinds are higher is worth a bit as well. |

[/ QUOTE ] - second consecutive time you were minraised: he has a big range - your hand plays reasonably well against his call range - you'll get walks in the future - you have a lot of FE because his call range is way smaller than his min raise range because of how much he still has left |

Re: $55: Blind war with QJs
This is so read dependant. Without reads I think I push here mostly in order to get walks in my BB later(hopefully). If you think the guy's a nutcase and has a huge calling range then pushing obviously sucks though. Calling with the intention of going all the way if you flop TP seems fine but I can't say folding is horrible either.
