If you're comparing the timelessness of Eminem to that of Beethoven or Elvis, I seriously don't think you should be commenting too much on who DOESN'T make music that will last through the ages. Don't get me wrong, for white rap, Eminem is quite good...but putting him in the same sentence with Beethoven and Elvis is a SIN. For that matter, in terms of their respective significance on music as a whole, Beethoven shouldn't have to share a sentence with Elvis, much less say Eminem.

And by the way, Sarah McLachlan is an absolutely brilliant female singer/songwriter whose work will stand the test of time.
