Consensus view
Don - Call
roy - raise lagarde - raise builtiz - fold spaceace - (implies) call alex - call goofball - fold So that's clear then I would fold given the reasonable likelihood Button will call him and I'll see cards anyway. Oddswise I think you are highly unlikely to be ahead and if Button has a 5 you'll be worse toast than you already are if you raise. |

Re: Do I call this river bet
[ QUOTE ]
I agree with the gambler. Solid BB is not betting the river with no pair...He probably has some small pocket pair and wants to get paid off. My guess is that he put you on big cards and will probably call if you raise. [/ QUOTE ] Ditto...with what sort of no-pair hand could this "solid" BB have called preflop, flop, and turn against two players? |

Re: Do I call this river bet
[ QUOTE ]
What I mean by a good tricky player is if he reads me for having 2 over cards he is very capable of betting on the river without a pair. He knows it will be difficult for me to call with another player behind me. [/ QUOTE ] From his view, there isn't just you in this hand. Anyhow, this thread is following the pattern of 'i called' "callling sucks" 'but he was type of player X who would do play Y so caling is correct' "then why post the [censored] thing". One thing is DEF. correct, if you think calling is correct then it's worth investing another bet to raise else you'll kick yourself when you calll and he shows 44 (the hand i think is most likely) or you call and the BB calls with 6,x 5,x Also, i'd like to note if he was HU on the river against you him playing 44 this way is very very sweet and probably not done by most. |
