http://img138.echo.cx/my.php?image=pt5bb.png This is actually the lowest it has been in awhile, it is back up to 7.2 BB/100, and will be a bit higher when I log todays hands. God I sure fear the day when player respect my raises. [/ QUOTE ] Damn, I was only beating it for 5BB/100 at 25k hands =( Hey, at least I'm beating 2/4 for 8BB/100 over the last 10k.... Re: Does anyone here actually beat PP .5/1 consistently for alot???
yes. consistently and ridiculously. ive only been playing .5/1 for a week (insert massive flame about small sample size here) anyways, ive been 4 tabling around 30 hours this week and have been making around $50/hour. that seems really good and clearly i cant keep this up.
its amazing how often bluffs work at this limit. preflop raising with continuation bets on flop/turn when you miss completely seem to work half the time again two opponents. bluffs in general work quite well. I play extremely aggressive and when I get caught the whole table is too stupid to notice and they fold to my bets the next hand. table image is pointless at this limit. i also dont check stats for each table and i wouldnt even know what to look for. I find myself capping Preflop with middle pairs and bluffing flop/turn and these guys fold when the pot is huge and i have an underpair!! maybe im getting really lucky, maybe its the beer inside of me talking, but ive made a crap load of money in my first 5 days playing limit in my life. |

I wouldn't expect these sorts of things to keep working at .5/1.

Re: Does anyone here actually beat PP .5/1 consistently for alot???
In 220 hands you should hit 13 pairs and nearly 2 sets, I think.
AKo and TT are often the best hand on the flop, sometimes even in a multiway flop. Often times they won't be the best but they'll get better hands to fold. 34 pairs without a set isnt' a big deal. It happens. You just need to play more hands. Poker's pretty frustrating. It may be a good idea to take a break if you're getting upset. --Dave. |
