Re: What\'s a good liqour to drink with chocolate?
I would go for a nice desert wine.
If wine isn't your thing you might want to consider frangelico. No chocolat around but you want the taste of chocolate? Get a wedge of lemon, dip it in suger. Take 6 parts vodka to 4 parts frangelico. Shake it with ice, pour it in a shotglass. Shoot it and straight after bite in the sugar dipped lemon. Women love it. |

Surprisingly, very dark chocolate and Scotch go well together. We're talking 70-80% dark. A Hershey bar would be gross.

Re: What\'s a good liqour to drink with chocolate?
Serious suggestion: White Russian
Side story: When I was at College, the hall of residence I lived in had a bar, and they served Crown Lager (premium Australian lager), for like a buck or one fifty (and that's $AUS, so its only about 70c in USD), but you had to drink it out of a plastic cup. You could also get a plastic cup of the same size of lollies for another buck or so, and I was amazed how good beer went with freckles (cheap milk chocolate covered in 100s and 1000s). Good times. |
