Re: Snakes on a Plane
yeah I don't post many hands either. 99.999% fall into one of four categories: standard, too close to call, way too readbased or open to opinion, or a straight math problem
the too close to call ones tend to spark up some interesting discussion though even though there might not be a right answer |

Re: Snakes on a Plane
Low limit guy question: Why did you check raise this flop?
I would have bet out because the hand is vulnerable and UTG might raise with overs and fold out button. As it is it seems like you didn't give button a chance to fold or make a mistake by calling. Also, in a 4 handed game there are a lot of hands that UTG would consider folding to a donk bet with another player to act behind him. Like I said I play at much lower limits so UTG folding might not be realistic for this game. |

I think I like a bet-call, bet-call, check-fold (or bet if he just called the turn) line. |

Re: Snakes on a Plane
Nerdy excel lessons would indeed be the pinnacle of usefulness. A post on that would lighten the dim days in rainy scotland whilst i fail on my dissertation.

I have no idea)...anyway, if u can post the document u use somewhere. I usuall end up doing that whole process by hand if I really want to get into situations. Can be pretty cumbersome, be nice to cut some steps. EDIT: or make a nerdy post on the inner workings of excel. Either way GL w/ school stuff. |

Re: Snakes on a Plane
I'd fold. It's possible that you have the best hand currently and one player was overplaying a hand like JT or AKd and the other was overplaying a slowpayed overpair like AA. However, I think that most of the time you are going to be behind at least one if not both players... with out the odds to improve.
The slim times that you are ahead you will get sucked out on some. Maybe the times you are behind and suckout cancel some of that, but overall (given your reads or lack of a read that these are complete morons) I think the turn cold is neg EV. This turn could of course get capped as well. |
