False. Living in Korea I can tell you that dog is not widely eaten and it certainly is entirely different from eating chicken or beef.

Furthermore when dog is eaten, it is never deep-fried as you described. It is entirely consumed as extremely thin slices within a soup called Bo-Shin-Tang. You cannot walk into a restaurant and order dog-steak medium rare.

The average Korean has never even eaten dog. It is the predilection of retarded salary-men who believe it aides in sexual stamina.
